# CRM sync

Praiz fills in your CRM fields from your conversations: call notes, amount, status, next step, custom fields.

{% hint style="info" %}
Before you start: a CRM connected to your user account (see [Connect your CRM](/integrations/connect-your-crm.md)) and a public agent. A private agent cannot sync to the CRM.
{% endhint %}

## What Praiz can fill in

* The call note, made of the agent fields you choose to include in it.
* Your CRM's standard fields: amount, status, next step.
* Your custom fields.
* The Date properties of HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive, from a "Date" field of the agent. In HubSpot, the property picker only offers Date properties for this field.
* Qualification criteria (MEDDIC, BANT, SPICED), one field per criterion.

The call note keeps its formatting (bold, headings, lists) in HubSpot, Pipedrive and Salesforce. In Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics and Planhat, it is sent as plain text.

Fields with constrained values (choice lists, yes / no, number) give data that is consistent from one deal to the next and filterable in the CRM.

## Set up the sync, field by field

Open the agent's configuration, "Fields" tab. Each field has two independent options:

* "Push to CRM notes": the field is included in the call note pushed to the CRM.
* "Push field to CRM": the field is sent to a CRM property. Choose the object, then the target field.

An agent with ten fields can therefore include a few fields in the note and send other fields to dedicated properties. On a new field, the "Push to CRM" box starts unchecked: nothing goes to the CRM without your explicit choice.

## Replace or append: the fill mode

For each field sent to a CRM property, choose what happens when a new value arrives:

* "Prepend with the call date (history kept)" (default): the new value is added above the current value, preceded by the call date. The history is kept.
* "Replace the value": the new value replaces the existing value.
* "Summarize (merge with the current value)": the new value and the value already in the field are merged into a short summary. Facts, dates and figures are kept. If the field is empty, the new value is simply written.
* "Fill if empty": the value is only written if the property is empty in the CRM. A value already present, including one typed by hand, is left unchanged. Available on HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive.

If the agent extracts no value for a field, the CRM property is left unchanged in "Prepend with the call date (history kept)" and "Summarize (merge with the current value)" modes.

Each field sent to a property carries an explicit mode.

On Salesforce, you also set the format of the field sent, including how Rich Text fields are rendered.

## Where the data goes

* Praiz finds the contact in the CRM by their email address.
* Praiz saves the call note on the most recently updated open deal for that contact.

## Supported CRM objects

| Object     | Supported                                                            |
| ---------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Deals      | Yes                                                                  |
| Contacts   | Yes                                                                  |
| Companies  | Yes                                                                  |
| Activities | Depends on the CRM (available on Salesforce, not on HubSpot or Zoho) |

Custom fields on these objects are supported. Custom objects are not.

## Trigger the sync

* Automatically: when the agent applies to a call under its automation rules, Praiz sends the data to the CRM. See [Using an agent](/ai-agents/using-an-agent.md).
* Manually: from the call page, click "Send to CRM". Praiz sends the outputs of the agents applied to that call.

## Supported CRMs
