# Transcription and languages

Every captured conversation is transcribed automatically, in around a hundred languages, with automatic language detection.

Praiz transcribes every conversation automatically, a few seconds after the call ends. The transcript is shown on the call page. Read it, question it with Ask Praiz, or analyze it with your agents.

## Language detection

Praiz detects the spoken language automatically. No setting is needed before a call, and no setting lets you force the language. Praiz handles conversations in several languages, including when the language changes mid-call.

## Correct a word in the transcript

From the call page, click a misheard word in the raw transcript (below the video) to correct it. Keep this for proper nouns and acronyms. To have a term recognized on all of your future calls, see "Custom vocabulary".

## Supported languages

Praiz transcribes around a hundred languages. The codes follow the ISO 639 standard.
