# How to rename my bot or stop it from recording internal meetings

Change the name of the bot that appears in your meetings, and choose which meetings it records.

These settings are under "Calendar", and each user sets them for their own bot.

## Rename the bot

1. Open "Calendar".
2. Under "Recording Preferences", edit the "AI assistant Name" field ("Praiz - AI Recorder" by default). An emoji is allowed.
3. Click "Save".

What to expect: the new name appears in your next meetings. An explicit name, for example "Camille's note-taking assistant", keeps the people you meet from talking to the bot while they wait for you.

The bot's picture cannot be customized.

## Choose which meetings to record

Still under "Calendar", "Recording Preferences" section, the recording rules define the meetings the bot comes to: external meetings, internal meetings (every participant has your email domain), recurring meetings, meetings you did not organize, accepted meetings only.

To stop recording internal meetings, uncheck "Record internal meetings".

If an external participant is invited to a meeting the bot had skipped, the meeting becomes external and the bot comes and records it.

You can also decide meeting by meeting with "Record Call?" in the list of upcoming meetings.

## The bot comes anyway

If the bot appears in a meeting you excluded, it is probably the bot of a colleague who is also invited. If everyone renames their own bot, you can tell whose it is.
