# I can't connect Praiz to my AI tool

Connecting the MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or n8n fails or returns nothing.

The Praiz MCP server connects with a single address, `https://mcp.praiz.io/mcp`, and your Praiz login. There is no token or API key to enter.

## The tool asks for a key or a token

Leave the field empty or choose sign-in authentication (OAuth). When you connect, a Praiz window opens to identify you. Praiz does not provide a static token.

## The connection succeeds but results are empty

You probably connected to the wrong workspace. Disconnect the connector, reconnect it and choose your company's workspace when you connect.

## The tool asks for authorization again

The session expired. Sign in again from the browser and the connection resumes. An automated script must handle refreshing the session in the same way.

## A call is missing from the results

The MCP server respects your permissions in Praiz. A call you cannot see in Praiz (private mode, another workspace) does not appear in your AI tool either.

## A new Praiz tool is missing

Refresh the connector's tool list in your AI client.

## Depending on the tool

* ChatGPT: custom MCP connectors require developer mode ("Developer mode") in the settings.
* Cursor: "Settings", "Tools & MCP", "New MCP Server", then click "Needs login".
* Codex CLI: once the server is declared, run `codex mcp login praiz` (praiz being the name you gave the server); the Praiz sign-in window opens.
* n8n: use the MCP Client node with the URL and sign-in authentication.
* Claude: if adding connectors is blocked, your Claude admin must allow it.

The full procedure is on the "[MCP server](/query-and-analyze/mcp-server.md)" page.
